Back-End Developer

Responsibilities

Collect and analyse data, processes and code to solve problems and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to set goals and design more functional, cohesive code to improve user experience.
Develop ideas for new programmes, products or features by following developments and industry trends.
Participate in continuing education and training to keep abreast of best practices, learn new programming languages and better assist other team members.
Lead on projects, as needed.

Experience with a PHP framework (Laravel, Symphony, Zend, etc…).
Strong OOP knowledge.
Experience with MySQL databases.
Docker experience is a plus.
Experience with GIT – Experience with SCRUM methodologies.
Ability to write clean, organised code that complies with our existing standards.
Deep technical understanding of RESTful APIs.
